Meals

At EHJ, we know that good nutrition is essential to every child’s growth, learning, and emotional wellbeing. That’s why we encourage healthy eating habits from an early age and provide a nutritionally balanced menu prepared fresh each day by our qualified EHJ Chef.

Using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients—including produce from our own community garden—we create meals that are wholesome, delicious, and designed to meet 50% of each child’s daily nutritional needs, as recommended by the Australian Dietary Guidelines.

Our mealtimes are a warm, supportive experience where children can explore diverse flavours and cultural cuisines, learn about food, and develop positive lifelong eating habits.

Guided by the Australian Dietary Guidelines and Nutrition Australia, our six week rotating seasonal menu caters to all children’s needs, including allergies, preferences, and special dietary requirements, whilst also being reviewed by management, parents/families, children, staff, and dieticians.
